Horizon scan, innovation. Touch sight camera for the blind
The touch sight camera was designed to give blind and partially sighted users the opportunity to record their memories. The user holds the camera against their forehead which puts the lens at eye level. When they press the shutter the camera records a 3 second sound clip and captures the image. The camera’s display screen is made out of a flexible tactile sheet that translates the image into a tactile photo.
