Finding the right person to help
Asking for help from a passer by is often the best way to deal with a complicated or unknown step in a journey. However not all passers by will be helpful and finding the best person to get help from can be extremely difficult.
Implications:
People with sight loss often can not access informal help which could make their journey much easier and compensate for problems caused by inaccessible infrastructure.
Opportunities:
Allow the people who are best placed to help most effectively (for example mothers) to be more aware of who they are and of the best way to help a person with sight loss.
