EEG Brain Monitoring at Innovate UK 2014
Today Future Cities Catapult and Panos Mavros of CASA, UCL exhibited the groundbreaking work they have been doing as part of Cities Unlocked on measuring stress responses to our cities in both sighted and non-sighted individuals at Innovative UK. Capturing the attention of Ministers, CEOs and fellow innovators from all over the country they managed to get a lot of people to try having their own brain measured. Ordinarily Panos fits the EEG headset to participants all walking the same route to identify differences and similarities in stress and excitement levels along with Go-pro cameras, GPS and wrist bands measuring physiological responses to corroborate and give fine detailed to get an understanding of what is generating stress and anxiety in individuals. You will be able to see the initial findings of Panos’ work on here very soon and also in our report.
